How should i write my thesis statement on Britney Spears?
I am doing a paper in english about someone who had an effect on the arts and i chose Brintey spears. For our thesis we have to do topic+argument+support of argument with examples.
for example:
Kurt Cobain changed popular mucis in the 1990s by introducing the 'grunge' style of music to America's youth.
im planning on writing about how britney crashed under the spotlight, i just don't know whta thesis to put for that

Well... I guess you could focus on how sudden fame at such a young age amounted to enormous pressure, and very public breakdowns.
She was relatively unkown, besides her brief stint on the MMC, and her fame exploded with her debut single, '...Baby One More Time'. Depending on how old YOU are, you may or may not remember just how popular she was. Britney was EVERYWHERE. Take Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers for example. They are incredibly popular right now. Britney was more widespread and popular than they are.
Her label then set standards for her, and any little mistake meant less from their cash cow. She had to tip-toe with everything she did, and eventually.. she probably couldn't take it anymore. What human being could?
Every mistake she has ever made has been on the front page of some newspaper, magazine, or on a website. If, day after day, you had to keep trying to be perfect, what would you do? Maybe that's one question you could ask in your paper.
Britney could never have a personal life, and it all finally got to her. I believe I've read things about post-partum depression playing a part in her breakdown, and her divorce didn't help at all I'm sure.
